TOLD P-4: The Test of Language Development (Primary)
The Test of Language Development (Primary) Fourth Edition assesses spoken language in young children aged 4 to 8-11 years of age. If you require the Intermediate version, for children aged 8 to 17-11 years of age, please use resource code 53848.
It is well constructed, reliable, practical, research-based, and theoretically sound. Professionals can use the TOLD-P:4 to identify children who are significantly below their peers in oral language proficiency, determine their specific strengths and weaknesses in oral language skills and document their progress in remedial programmes.
Comprises of nine sub-tests that measure semantics, grammar and phonology skills. Three measure listening abilities; three measure organising; and three measure speaking abilities. The combination of all nine sub-tests represents overall spoken language and include: Picture Vocabulary, Relational Vocabulary, Oral Vocabulary, Syntactic Understanding, Sentence Imitation, Morphological Completion, Word Discrimination, Word Analysis, Word Articulation.
