These simple, visual fan tools enable individuals to convey the location of pain or discomfort. They can then be given appropriate support and treatment. Suitable for people who have Stroke, Autism, Dementia, Speech or Hearing Difficulties, are intubated, have a tracheostomy or to support communication during situations of trauma or anxiety. They are purposefully a handy pocket-sized tool with a loop that could be clipped to a belt with a suitable attachment (not supplied). With a wipe-clean surface. Conforms to infection control protocols. A version for children is also available (product code 57274). Developed by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. we are told these are used by the military on the battlefield.
