Face Fun Oral Motor Pack 2 - Disguise
We think that therapists will find these versatile and fun resources useful tools to engage children, teenagers or adults in either Speech and Language Therapy sessions or, alternatively, to help encouraging sharing of feelings and emotions in mental health/emotional wellbeing sessions.
The 6 fun masks are popped on the head so they can "be someone else" whilst the lower part of the face is left clear for practicing essential speech, articulation or oral motor exercises in front of the therapy mirror or perhaps for therapeutic storytelling activities!
They have glasses-type arms, smaller clients may benefit from attaching elastic or thread through a punched hole for fitting comfortably. The eyes have 9 holes for vision, but these could be cut out further to make seeing easier.
We know that all of you creative therapists, teachers and facilitators out there will find other ways to adapt and use these fun props to add a new dimension to sessions!
Card. Sizes vary according to character but approx 19cmWx18cmH
Designed for adults, but we think these interesting items are transferrable to make therapy fun, however, adult supervision is essential - they are not toys.
