Business Planning and Review

The Directors and the Senior Management team will be challenged with delivering the necessary improvements needed to ensure ROMPA® can achieve key objectives, which will necessitate investment to allow the development and introduction of personnel, systems and procedures to deliver effective and efficient performance.

ROMPA® has a vast pool of experienced professionals in areas such as: design, sales, production, warehousing, purchasing, IT, HR and Finance. ROMPA® invests in its relationships with experienced consultants to include OT’s who are able to interact with our customer base offering a wealth of experience covering many topics. We have begun developing a specific marketing function and this year will see us concentrate heavily on Market Research and Innovation.

We are supported by a total workforce of around 65 highly qualified and experienced staff. We understand that people are our key asset and we recruit and retain the best people we need to maintain company growth whilst retaining our unique culture. We have constructed a number of projects to high standards and we continue to build on that success. We promote an open management style which encourages ownership and responsibility open dialogue and new ideas. We now have 3 young apprentices and will continue to play our part in giving young people the opportunity to learn about business and working environments. To date every indication is that these individuals will become the new faces of ROMPA®.

Profitability and Sustainability of the Company

The requirement to ensure that the Company can remain competitive in the modern market where the absolute need to demonstrate value for money hand in hand with quality goods to our customers must be matched with the needs of the Company through effective financial systems and controls to ensure we generate value.

We continue to review our product range to ensure we source the best products at the best prices to help support our customer base of whom we know many are restricted with their budgets yet again this year. We have been able to reduce the costs with some products through this extensive exercise.

Compliance with Our Legal and Contractual Responsibilities

Our obligations are to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all Company personnel throughout the duration of any project, as well as being able to deal with other significant legislative requirements. We continue to invest in H&S training and best practices.

Customer Service and Satisfaction

ROMPA® has made a commitment to customers and partners (both existing and in the future), to provide access to staff conversant with the needs and demands of a client. The client relationship is important and must be safeguarded through open honest dialogue. We promise to listen to and involve all of our customers and partners so that together we can deliver the best possible service and be the leaders of the industry. This industry is very rewarding we are all proud to be involved in a business that supplies and manufactures products that enhance people’s lives. We commit to being open and honest at all times and through continued open and honest dialogue to educate not only ourselves but our customers and to learn from our customers too.

Education, Training and Development

At the heart of the planned improvements is the need to guarantee staff and sub-contractors carry out their works to the standards we expect. This can only happen through guaranteeing they have the necessary skills and competence to complete the task, to achieve this a programme of training and assessment has been implemented which will provide benefits to all aspects of ROMPA®’s work.

Environmental and Equality Commitments

Equality and diversity underpins all of our work and is at the heart of what we are and what we do.

Our commitment goes beyond the legal requirements of equalities and environmental legislation.

Our Policy statements give a clear direction to all and will help us to continue to value all our staff, contractors, partners, customers, suppliers, visitors and of course our environment.

We will achieve by providing a fair, supportive and discriminatory-free environment that promotes equality of opportunity and values diversity.

We believe this can be done through creating mutual understandings and a learning environment based on respect and celebrating differences between individuals, as well as utilising talent and experiences. We know to lead by example and to care for the community and the environment.
