Age range: 4 years to 17:11 Receptive & expressive oral vocabulary Testing time: 20-30 mins The CREVT is an innovative, efficient and standardised measure of both receptive and expressive oral vocabulary. Use the CREVT to:

• Identify students who are significantly below their peers in oral vocabulary proficiency.
• Determine any discrepancy between receptive and expressive oral vocabulary skills.
• Document progress in oral vocabulary development as a consequence of intervention.The CREVT has two sub-tests, is based on the most current theories of vocabulary development, is quick to administer and easy to score. Not suitable for children with hearing deficiencies.
